#ASPIRE2BGreat! #ProjectASPIRE

Dear Friends:

Twenty years ago this summer, the world came to Atlanta twice when it hosted the 1996 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The awareness created through those efforts, the broadcast coverage given to the Games by NBC, the many federal program efforts, including Paralympic Days in the Schools, the efforts of over 70,000 engaged volunteers, all led up to the founding of two leading, nationally honored organizations.

The 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games that year brought unprecedented awareness and resources in support of America’s disabled athletes. The two premier organizations, born out of that awareness, are now partnering to bring you Project ASPIRE, continuing to help to extend those same opportunities to your school, community and family – 20 years later.

Project ASPIRE is a collaboration between the American Association of Adapted Sports Programs (AAASP) and BlazeSports America, to enhance existing efforts and encourage new ones through Adapted Sports Programs In Recreation and Education. Project ASPIRE is the umbrella under which BlazeSports and AAASP will Raise Awareness, Foster Inclusion and Generate Resources in your community.

NBC Announced airing of 60+ hours of the Rio Paralympic Games in September – so we want you to come celebrate with us!
As a service organization, and friends of the disabled community, we would like you to join us in celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the OLYMPICS here in Atlanta, and host a viewing party of a Paralympic event in your community.

We’ve put together a hosting packet for you to follow – to keep it simple. The purpose is just to build awareness of the games – to celebrate our amazing Paralympic athletes in their quest for Gold, and help foster inclusion and raise awareness of the programs available to our disabled community!

Please sign up today to join our celebration – be sure to add your name and email address to our list to wish the Paralympic Athletes well (LINK TO SIGN UP ) , and learn more about the Legacies these wonderful games left behind. Also, we hope you will consider hosting a Viewing Party – click here to sign up! (LINK TO PAGE)
Then, be sure to let us know when you are hosting it, we will add it to our calendar! Finally, send us your photos, and tweet to us—to win prizes from our organizations! Join the Celebration! We look forward to hearing from you!
