The 20th Anniversary Celebrations Have Begun!

The American Association of Adapted Sports Programs (AAASP) and BlazeSports America joined Centennial Olympic Park and Atlanta Officials in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ’96 Olympic and Paralympic Games at Centennial Olympic Park!

There was live music, Paralympians and Olympians, and much more including a ’96 Paralympic Reunion Tent.

Ambassador Andrew Young, Billy Payne, Mayor Kasim Reid, and famous athletes including the 1996 Gymnastics Team, Carl Lewis, Janet Evans, and Paralympians Curtis Lovejoy, LeeAnn Shannon, Sandy Hanebrink came together to celebrate the anniversary and show how the Atlanta Games helped shape new opportunities in Georgia and the nation.

We were glad to participate in the celebration and happy to announce our joint partnership with BlazeSports America to talk about the legacy that was created through the games. We developed this joint website called “Project ASPIRE”!
